A Ballantine's 17 year old bottling from the 1990s. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Digestive biscuits, shortbread, malt, honey, floral, lots of creamy vanilla, quite light and fragrant, heather, herbal, gingerbread.

Palate: Quite complex, very floral, oaky, wood spice, lots of grain, ginger, curry, with time there is a decent hit of wood smoke.

Finish: Medium/long, floral, oak is the lasting note, curry, spice, smoke.
